What's new in Audioscrape. We ship continuously. Here are the updates worth knowing about, newest first.
September 2026
- Import audio by pasting a link. Drop in a public link and we fetch and transcribe it for you.
- Light and dark themes. The app follows your system appearance, or you can pick one.
- Public status page. Live service status and uptime at status.audioscrape.com.
- Better speaker identification and language detection. More accurate speaker labels and automatic language detection.
- Refreshed signed-in experience. A cleaner home and dashboard for your recordings and results.
- Smoother checkout and subscription management. Clearer plan changes, payment updates, and cancellation.
- More transcription on every plan. The free plan now includes 5 hours a month, with recordings up to 3 hours each. Starter includes 20 hours and Pro 100.
- Nothing fails at your limit. A recording that goes over your allowance is kept and starts by itself when the allowance renews.
- Your allowance renews on your own day. From 1 October, minutes and searches renew once a month on your billing day, or on the day you signed up on the free plan.
- Long recordings finish sooner. Recordings of several hours come back sooner, still as one transcript.
- Ask for any podcast episode. Paste a Spotify, Apple Podcasts or RSS link and we find the show. An episode that isn't transcribed yet joins the queue.
- The same file is never charged twice. Send an identical recording again and you get the transcript you already have.
- Your recordings in ChatGPT and Claude. Ask for a recording by its name, and reading your own recordings never uses a search from your allowance.
- Search that forgives typos. Show titles match with typos, initials or partial words, and a search for last month stays within last month.
- Every connection shows its source. Each link in the knowledge graph points to the moment in a recording where it was said.
- One page per person. Someone whose name is spelled differently across shows keeps a single page, and old links still work.
- Public meetings, cited properly. Meeting pages say where the official record is kept and how to ask us for a correction, and more city councils and commissions are covered.
- Embed a moment on your site. A clip player that reads like the transcript, in light or dark.
- A weekly email about your recordings. What finished, how your recordings connect, and how many minutes you have left.
- Close your account yourself. From your account page, with your recordings deleted right away.

- Trust Center. A single place for our security practices and posture at trust.audioscrape.com.
- Podcast charts for more countries. Expanded the charts well beyond the initial set of markets.
- Keyword alerts. Get notified when your terms are mentioned in new episodes.
July 2026
- Filter search by content type. Narrow results to the kind of content you're after.
- Usage notifications. A heads-up by email as you approach your plan's limits.
- Richer tools for AI assistants. Episode overviews and paged transcripts for MCP and agent integrations.
