Because that means they're also, they've got the strength and the coordination to actually eat food and bring food to their mouth.
So you need to also have your baby sitting in a high chair.
So that's the best place to have them start solids.
Tongue thrust reflex, which is when you see your baby, if you put your finger to their mouth, they'll stick their tongue out.
So it doesn't need to be reduced entirely, but as long as they, it's essentially so that they can eat food.
Because if you start solids with them and they've got the tongue thrust really strong, they're not going to eat anything.
They're just going to keep pushing it all back out.
Yeah.
So yeah.
Which would have been frustrating because yeah, I was like, what?
Yeah, exactly.
I'm ready.
You must be ready too.
But that's often a really other great sign that, you know, your baby's ready.
They can sit up.
They've, as I said, they've got that strength and the coordination to be able to eat food.
Bringing their hand to their mouth as well is another really great sign because, and that usually happens closer towards six months, not so much around the four to six month mark, but it just, it just naturally happens closer to the six months.
So yeah.
So that's like the best place to start.
It's not so much about the age.
