But now they feel like they can't even go once a year because it's so expensive.
And when you look at the prices, you can see how that would be the case.
For example, a one-day pass to Paris in 2019 would have cost you around โฌ74 for an adult.
Child's price was around โฌ68.
So that's for a one-day pass, what, seven years ago.
Today, you're probably looking at upwards of โฌ100 for an adult, โฌ96 for a child.
So a decent enough increase in a short period of time.
But they also use dynamic pricing now.
So the chances are it'll be more than that.
So, for example, at most days in the summer, you're generally going to pay above โฌ130 for an adult or โฌ127 for a child.
And then on top of that, there have been other changes that make people spend more money and often get less in return.
So, for example, they used to have a thing called Fast Pass, which was a free system where you could essentially register for one of the more popular rides.
You'd be given a time slot and you could then wander off and come back later and avoid the queue, which was ideal if you had small kids rather than standing here for hours just to go on one ride.
But after COVID, they ditched that and they replaced it with a system where you have to pay per passenger per ride to skip the queue.
So it becomes very expensive very quickly.
Other changes like the cost of food at the resorts, increases in the cost of car parking.
And despite the hotels getting more expensive as well, they also took away the free breakfast that was offered to people who stayed there.
So a real feeling that, you know, they're constantly kind of upselling you and taking more and more away despite charging you more for it.
Yeah, I mean, like whatever about Disney's friendly, family friendly image, it is a business at the end of the day.
And while it has been raising prices and maybe cutting perks, it's still being seen attendances at the resorts increase.
