when you go into another new environment and you haven't got your family sort of close by, who has sort of made it as comfortable and had that level of security that you need just to be a young man, let alone a young cricketer?
Because this can be really a weird experience because especially someone like Matt Renshaw, who doesn't mind saying a little bit out on the field when he's playing for Queensland against Victoria, then all of a sudden you're teammates.
So you've started in Pakistan.
You weren't originally going to go to Bangladesh, but you now are, which is, I guess, a real sort of feather in your cap.
It's a tick in the box to say that, well, they still want you around.
What's the plan for this particular series for you, or is it still a little bit early?
Because I guess in these sorts of subcontinental conditions that you're playing in, there's that sort of you've got that learning from just playing in the conditions that you haven't been exposed to a lot, playing in a different position in the order, which is a relatively new experience for you, and then obviously playing at an international level.
So there's so much that you're taking in.
Ollie Peake is joining us live from Bangladesh, head of the upcoming one-day series with the Bangladeshis.
Without sort of putting you on the spot, has there been a couple of specific things that you can kind of share with us that you've learnt that perhaps you didn't know, just about cricket in general as much as anything with the new experiences that you're having that might be out on the field but also in training as well?
That was probably one of the biggest things against the Spinners.
And one more.
I won't take too much more of your time, but one more.
Is there something that you've learnt from playing for Victoria or something that you've learnt as a junior, maybe something that Chris Rogers has taught you or Peter Hanscom, that you've found to be right where you've gone, oh...
That's, they told me that or something you've doubled down on that you think, yep, this is something that I need to keep doing that I've been doing at Victorian level to do it at Australian level.
And you've got Todd Murphy, Victorian teammate, that's joined you over in Bangladesh.
Hopefully both of you can get out there together and represent your country.
So proud of what you're doing, Ollie.
Congratulations on being selected and particularly that performance in Game 2.
Fingers crossed that it continues to go well for you as we get to the matches against Bangladesh.
