And if you'd asked me this a year or two years ago, I would have gone some way to supporting what they said in the Oireachtas Committee.
We talk about addiction in terms of alcohol and drugs.
And we talk about people losing their homes and their lives and things like that.
Social media addiction has always been a slightly fuzzier term than that.
We talk about it in a different context.
But the European Commission in February of this year made a preliminary ruling against TikTok really as a proxy for most of the social media companies because it has a similar case going against Meta, which said that TikTok is in fact addictive, that it uses patterns that... Sorry, could you say that again?
I'm sorry, there's my Siri, that uses patterns that addicts people to its algorithms and its systems.
And it said that it's not a binding decision that TikTok can challenge it.
That comes around the same time as the US case in Los Angeles, which you probably read about, where a court, a jury also found Meta, which is Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp and YouTube.
And that was a precedent set in case, wasn't it?
A couple of years ago, only half of them might have turned up.
Now we don't really have to bother with some Oireachtas committee.
They all turned up best foot forward.
I think that I think the tide has turned the beginning of the year.
