It's because there's no facilities.

That's right.

And again, so if you look at the stats that are published, they're published by Garda station level.

South West Inner City has two Garda stations, the Kevin Street and the Kilmainham station.

And it's, so there's, if you look by population level, it's the fourth highest crime rate in the country in terms of the reported crime levels.

It's 106 crimes per thousand population in the last year we have data, 2024.

And so that's more than twice the national average.

So it is quite high.

And again, it's the only ones that's behind are the, you know, Store Street and Pierce Street, which deal with just a lot of those issues there in the Bridewell as well.

So it's really, really quite striking.

It's also up in the last year, again, that we have data from 2023 to 2024 went up by about 20 percent.

And that was really about public order offences, damage to property and the environment and some serious crimes like assaults as well.

That's right, at least twice.

So, actually, to get data on this, the data isn't published at a local level very good.

So we got a parliamentary question put down and that gives us essentially what are called local health office level.

So the local health office level that takes in the South West Inner City, there's 22 drug poisoning deaths in 2021, the latest year of data again we have, and that is...

double the national average.

But that takes in, that area takes in also Rathfarnham, Terranure, bits where we know there's not that many drug poisoning deaths.

It's higher in that.

We know it's a lot higher and that has lots of consequences.
