So we'll see how that one is out.
But super impressed with both teams off the charts.
That was one of the best playoff games I've seen all year this year.
A lot of guys standing up as I was at that game last night for each other in that Minnesota Colorado game.
Does that bring any relevance to whether or not the coach should stand up for a player?
Not all the time.
but almost always for sure on that Leon Dreisaitl instance.
I don't see it as shocking as most people may, and that sounds a little bit cruel, but it's also just part of the business.
As you just articulated, the Oilers are, you know, they're not happy how the season ended.
They're not happy where they're at, and Stan Bowman is doing what he should do.
which is turn over every rock as to how he can possibly improve, in this case, the organization, the coaching.
That doesn't mean he's not going to have Chris Knobloch back.
What makes this awkward or uncomfortable is that there's no secrets anymore.
Right.
I don't think there's any, you know, Bruce is probably, in the pecking order, by far the highest player
person that people would want to talk to.
So unfortunately in this game, you're not always afforded the luxury of time when you have to at least lay some cards out on the table.
I think if Edmonton doesn't reach out, there's a chance Bruce Cassidy, who I'm openly saying is probably the top guy to get the next job, gets scooped up by somebody.
So you've got to get in the game, or you've got to be willing to live with the outcome without even trying.
So from that perspective, it's not abnormal to me, but it may sound unusually cruel to somebody that's in more standardized business.
