The original Let's Get Married remix is a remix with Kanye West.
Really?
Yeah.
It's Kanye's first time rapping as a guest on a major artist.
How did Kanye even get involved
with that because Kanye had a song that's also deaf Kanye worked on Jermaine's Life in 1472 album and he worked on Harlem World so he was already in the loop with Jermaine and so we were doing Diane the lady who worked with Jermaine named Diane McDonald would send CDs over to Noontime I was at Noontime with the twins working and she would send CDs over like oh you know we wouldn't
picked one of these beats for a remix because they had a deal with him.
So they're like, you know, let's try to get through this deal.
And they picked a beat and it was this hollow note sample called Ground Separation.
And, and it had all like vocals and he, this was before Blueprint.
So it had all the little things that
You know, what you hear on Blueprint had all those things in it.
And I remember we were listening to the track and we thought the track was really dope.
