But I do think that's a distinction because he wanted to make, he wanted to make it clear to everybody, to the fans, but also to his players that, you know, for, for Mishkov to be great, he's going, you have to fully integrate himself into the team and be one of many rather than one set apart.
And I think a lot of fans had an issue with that because they viewed it as Mishkov was set apart because he was the guy they liked the most.
And, and,
I think that led to a lot of the coach fan clash over the course of the year.
Yeah, I think the answer to that is the guy who we heard in that clip that you played before I came on.
It's Dan Vladar.
And that's not to dismiss the impact of guys like Trevor Zekers, who is a fantastic acquisition of the Philadelphia Flyers, and Danny Breer, and he ended up finishing the season at the 1C.
He's going to be the 1C in the playoffs, almost certainly.
But Vladar, you've got to understand about Vladar.
Number one, the Flyers last year got horrific goaltendings.
And granted the goalies weren't helped by, by the defense, you know, John's heard about how the Flyers playing, you know, I wouldn't say a running gun, but it was a very like odd man rush focused system and led to a lot of breakaways and two on ones, but it also led to a lot of wide open backdoor goals.
So I'm not saying it was entirely the goalies, but goalies didn't play well.
Flyers were the worst team in the league by say percentage and what wasn't terribly close.
They bring in Dan Ladar who, you know,
there were people in the NHL who liked his upside and he was obviously a huge goaltender.
He has a ton of raw town or had a ton of raw town, I guess you could say now, but it's not like he came in with a resume of, Oh man, this is a solution in golf.
He was brought in to be a tandem goalie with, with Sam Harrison and pretty much from the jump.
I mean, this guy solidified the position, even as Sam Harrison and Harrison got going after the break, he was significantly better after the Olympic break, but,
First two thirds of the year, Sam Harrison was basically repeating last season, except in front of, you know, better defense or behind better defense, I guess is a better way to put it.
On the other side, Ladar was saving the Flyers night after night.
