Tell me about the very odd story.
That's the catalyst for, for all that.
Well, it was a big old day at my house.
It was my birthday that week.
And how old were you at this time?
I can say about six or seven-ish.
And my mom went overboard with gifts, you know, and I knew that she'd done something really cool for the birthday.
And you know, that's that real unmistakable, that smug look that your parents get when they know they got you a banger.
Like, I can't wait till the end of this, you know.
I remember opening it up and it was a wrestling ring with a bunch of these wrestling figures that you'd stick your thumbs in and have these little wars.
I remember them.
They were amazing.
And it was like, it was my dream.
Like the ring and Junkyard Dog, which looked like my uncles.
And I had Macho Man and all these characters.
And I was on such a high that day.
So I'm upstairs playing.
And I remember hearing some people yelling downstairs.
And I was like, what?
Oh, I wonder what that's about.
