Like, everybody thinks, oh, the Yankees are going to be big movers and shakers.
Like, are we looking at the Bednar and Duvall trades as movers and shakers?
The Giants were kind of getting rid of Duvall.
Bednar could be the guy, but he hasn't been yet.
So is that a massive upgrade at the trade deadline when they're adding to Luke Weaver and they're adding to Devin Williams?
I just don't see the Yankees doing that normally.
So I think the expectations should be a little tempered.
Now, if you told me that the Padres went out and got some massive bullpen piece, I'd be like, well, yeah, I mean...
AJ Preller, he just he sells the farm for what they have.
So I don't think it's necessarily in Cashman's M.O., but I could be wrong.
I guess I'm going to talk out of both sides of my mouth here because I'm going to say the Red Sox were not made to win.
They wanted to win.
I think it feels like decision makers, I felt like there was some ego in the decisions that they made.
I get it.
They have some good pitchers.
But I think to say they have really good pitchers was saying that you were going to be 100% healthy the whole year.
So to me, I don't think the Red Sox...
were ever even built at the beginning of the season to be a playoff team.
They thought they were, but clearly there's a lot going on there.
So, I mean, a team like the red Sox, I think is out.
