It's the guys in the dressing room that are, you know, that chatter that goes on in the room, that mindless chatter that goes on from the time you get in the room to the time you go on the ice that some people listen to it, some people don't, but you need to hear the noise.
It has to be in your ear, right?
And guys say things like that, you know.
You know, I've been in a dressing room with Chris Nyland.
I mean, it's entertainment.
Yeah.
Yeah, it is.
It's entertainment.
I mean, he's and some of the stuff he said on the ice was entertainment, too.
But but yeah, it's it's it's a time of year where it comes to attrition.
Right.
You got to get through.
And the thing is, you watch a team go through a series that may go six or seven games and it's a real battle.
And there's a lot of a lot of carnage.
There's a lot of ice bags and a lot of little nicks that go on.
And then someone goes in the room and says, you know, hey, guys, that was great, wonderful.
Let's shelf that one away.
We've got to do that three more times.
And for some players, that seems to be, at the time, whether you're young or you're not ready for it, it seems to be a mountain that's really hard to climb.
And for some players, when they figure it out, when they win that first series, the step just comes.
