My boss is the customers.
It's the investors.
It's the money we've put into the cash flow of ordering certain things.
So, yeah, we could go for lunch.
But actually, if we don't do the thing that needs to be done in order to make the marketing happen to do that, then you're fucked and you go back to having a different type of boss or whatever it might be.
I so strongly believe that there are different jobs for different people in that.
if you're risk averse in a way that it makes you anxious to be ever in a situation where there is more risk rather than it making you hungry then maybe it's not the right thing for you like maybe your better version of a boss is a traditional boss versus all of these different things that yeah one day you might feel total freedom the next day you might you know it might come slamming down on you and you realise that
you're now in hundreds of thousands worth of debt or whatever it might be.
I do totally agree with you that most people assume that the way they're doing things and the way they're making money is the way that it has to be.
And I think that that's far more compelling coming from you because I come from a much more privileged background.
And I think that if I sit here and say like, oh, but you could all do this.
When actually I will have access to so many things that, you know, other people might not do.
I think that it points me to the fact that actually all I want is, as you say, for people to think more about the opportunities that are actually ahead of them and what they're genuinely suited to.
And if it is just the fear holding you back rather than because it's maybe not a good idea, then go for it.
Like 100% go for it.
