I used to do intermittent fasting during the pandemic.
That's how I was able to lose a bunch of weight.
But then I realized...
It's not so great for my brain.
And I need protein first thing in the morning with my coffee.
If not, I could tell my cortisol is really high.
I feel jittery.
I feel anxious.
I'm like, I just don't feel like a solid woman trying to take on the world when I don't have all that protein.
But isn't that great that you know that?
Isn't that great that you're not like testing that part out yet and you're getting that protein that first thing in the morning, which you've already, you know, like hit, maybe hit 25 or 30 and then the rest of the day feels so much easier.
And meal prepping is like, would be, it's ideal, right?
Cause it's like half of the time when you're a busy woman and you're running around and you're dealing with kids and practices and schedules and meetings, it's like,
you don't want to eat non-nutritional food, right?
And it's easy just to go and grab like a bag of chips or your kid's snacks that are in the cupboard.
I mean, I find myself doing that all the time.
I'm like, no, you really need to be thoughtful and pause.
And like, what am I putting in my body?
