In the end, I was sentenced for 1.6 kilos and I had a sentence for five and a half year in prison.
While I was a criminal, we had a saying saying, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
If you have been punished your entire life, punishment doesn't work on you.
It doesn't.
I mean, look at the United States.
They have some of the hardest punishment.
It's like 2 million people in prison in the United States.
Exactly.
And it's actually some of the hardest prisons you have.
So it doesn't work.
And that was the same with me.
So no, there was no time that I was thinking that I should stop being a criminal.
So I continued while I was in prison.
The basic is the same because...
Your freedom is still taken.
You're still locked away.
I normally say the only difference between Danish prison and the American prison is that in Denmark, you should not be afraid that you will get raped, but your freedom is still taken.
And in the beginning, you're also locked away like 23 hours a day while you're waiting for your sentence.
And in my first sentence, I waited for my sentence for more than a year.
