Like, it feels like everything has gone wrong, and yet they're one game out of a playoff spot, and maybe some guys are on their way back.

It's a weird season in the American League.

Weird season so far.

And to hammer this home, and this really colors how fake the 60-game season was back in the relaunch, is the playoff field in the American League right now would include the Athletics and White Sox, Guardians and Twins,

and then Rays and Yankees.

And the Yankees are good.

Even the Rays this year, like, they're the Rays, so there's always some sort of nonsense going on.
