Yeah, I know he had five touches in the first half.
yeah I mean if that goes in it looks like probably what proceeds is a well managed game I would assume where Liverpool have got the scoreline laid and they don't need to do much elsewhere and they just keep Chelsea at arm's length with the jab I think Van Dijk should score as well to be fair but you know he doesn't and it goes from there it goes into a different kind of game
It didn't feel like that at all, that's clear.
Yeah, it's insistent that.
It did feel like they had openings though, you know, opportunities if you want rather than getting the shots off, specifically involving Cougar hair and that channel between Canarte and Jones as I said.
quite dismal um chelsea's shot map is even more dismal i would say if you don't know that that one there is a goal and you offer that to on the slot before the ball was kicked would you deal on it you would and i again that's that's that that would be the interesting thing to ask him you know to sit down with him to show him he would deal on that but if you actually watch the game play out it's it's very very hard to say that liverpool have been defensively good in that game
Yeah, this is something I've been weighing up for a while, to be fair, you know, because we're looking at this obviously from a Liverpool perspective, but from a Chelsea perspective, it was all so miserable.
And last week, we spoke about Man United and Liverpool, and I remember saying on the post-match point, near the very start of it, that it was just largely just two really bad teams, for different reasons and stuff, so...
I think it's I found out today as well at the Premier League table today and Aston Villa who have been painted to be having a pretty good season have got exactly the same number of wins losses and draws as Liverpool have at the moment so I think the champions are going to probably end up on about 83 points I think I might say and something like that
So I think it's definitely, this is happening, but it's happening within the context of it being a really weird season, I think, for everyone, stylistically and, you know, the set pieces and all that stuff, long throws.
I hope it's a temporary place of, like, almost purgatory on our way towards heaven, hopefully, rather than hell.
But, yeah, miserable.
Yeah, to be fair, I didn't even realise it was Cole's first game back.
That slipped my mind.
But I think I say that was the player who stood out to me.
Am I right in saying he's got the... Yes, he's got the quality.
I thought he was quality.
