Martin Perez has been great for them, too.
It's just I think when you build this really solid foundation and culture, people want to go there and people want to fit in.
And it was one of my most favorite places to play.
I would have to do a little bit more digging on, you know, maybe his starting points this year versus starting points last year.
You know, I I'd have to sit down and talk to him a little bit too.
I mean,
You've got to think about everything that's kind of out in front of them.
If that's kind of, you know, playing a factor in a little bit to him, him being a free agent for the first time.
Certainly you don't want to have a, you know, a step back defensively.

what he's able to do offensively and i know he hasn't kind of reached his peak this year in terms of we thought he was going to turn this corner and be this you know 30 home run guy but you know still a way above uh offensive center fielder right but when you start to move out of that center field position you go to left or right field you know it loses a little bit of value so for him he definitely doesn't want to take a step back in what he's able to defensively but
