hopefully what could turn out to be a good day for you in terms of you know maybe getting a score or two or maybe doing something vital for the team in terms of getting a hook or a block or saving a pelty or something like that all the positive things were coming out in you and you know back in the car then and went up to my home place went up to see mum and dad had a cup of tea and an old biscuit and just gave them a hug each and I said hopefully on Monday or Tuesday I'll bring the Lee McCarthy up here for you so very emotional I must say

I was like a young kid waiting to open a Christmas present.
I was just so forward, looking forward to it.
There was no nerves, no tension, you know.

The rest of them would have met in Escorti, Adrian Fellin and crew, Paul Codd and these lads.
And then Gorry was our last stop.
But the closer we got to Gorry now, I could not believe the crowd on the streets and in the cars heading towards Craw Park.
