You just have to wait and see what the policy is, but it will have a cost of living impact for Kiwi families.
How unsurprising.
Now, talk to me about why you think it's OK, and this is all of you people in Parliament, to use your superannuation to buy a beach house.
So do you think it's okay if we invest in houses for our superannuation in this country?
A lot of people do.
Yes, we do.
But until now, I thought you didn't like that.
So is that okay?
Yes or no.
If we chuck our investment money, if we use property as our investment for our super and our retirement, that's cool with you.
Okay, fair enough.
But can you see why we may have a problem with you being able to use your superannuation money to go and buy yourself a beach house when the rest of us who are investing in KiwiSaver, because we're supposed to be doing that, are not able to do the same thing?
The rules forbid it.
I think KiwiSaver is a very, very good investment for all the relatives in the future.
But can you not see that what is going on right now with the revelations about Louise Upston and Andy Foster and yourself, this looks like a ruling class on the pig's back while the rest of us are not.
None of us are getting $60,000 to $70,000 popped into our superannuation funds every year by our employer, in your case the taxpayer, which we're then able to withdraw and buy a beach house with.
This is the ruling class who has a different set of standards from everybody else.
It's not right, is it?
Do you need to change it?
Well, look, I think members of Parliament are in a unique role.
