So it just spurred me on to make things that were even more personal with no real understanding of how they might be received.

I'll just leave it at that.
What comes after this film is madness and something I was not expecting.
But I watched an interview with him and he was like, yeah, I've been trying to make this film for 10 years.
I've been thinking about this film for 10 years.
So I got asked recently...
oh, when's your next exhibition going to be?
And I'm like, hey, I've just got the first one.
So just hold on.
But my response was 10 years time, because you need time to develop new work.
You need time to live life and express what you want to express.
And then in 10 years, I'll be able to put it all together again and see.
It's like going out and making an album.
It takes a long time.
It can get very dangerous thinking about the reward, what comes as a result of what you're doing.
