I might have got, as I said, a bit caught up in like all the emotions of playing your first game for Australia and being quite edgy and nervous to like hopeful to do well.
And yeah, I sort of reflected on that game and realised that I was, yeah, in a bit of a rush to get on with things.
And I feel like, yeah, in that second game, I probably got off to a bit of a slower start, but was able to catch up towards the back end.
And yeah, I guess that's the way
We had to play in these conditions and yeah, that was probably the biggest learning that I took out of that first game.
No, they're definitely a part of the journey.
Yeah, I've been really lucky to have so much support from them.
I think probably until I started playing professional cricket, they hardly missed a game that I played.
So, yeah, now with all the travel and stuff that goes on, I guess you have to sacrifice a few things.
And, yeah, them missing my first couple of games would have been pretty tough.
So I've tried to keep them in the loop as much as I could.
Mum's actually over in Europe at the moment on a holiday and so she's living her best life and then dad and my brother are back in Geelong.
So yeah, trying to keep them in the loop as much as possible and make sure I stay in touch with things that are going on at home.
Yeah, to be honest, everyone's been really welcoming and sort of allowed me to be myself.
And yeah, I guess it's been great to get to know all the boys first and foremost.
I guess that's when you're,
you're playing your best is when you're comfortable around your teammates.
Um, but yeah, one that probably stands out is Matt Renshaw.
Um, I've been coming into bat, uh, behind him.
So, um, yeah, he's been really good at helping me on the field, calm down and, um, sort of guide me through my first 10 or so balls so that I can, um,
