Since the beginning of me making content, I have been clear that I am not a TERF and I've said that all women, trans women included, are a part of my feminism.
I have always enjoyed listening to the trans people that have resonated with and elaborated on my content.
I believed that my platform was a safe and inclusive space for their voices.
It is now clear to me that a more explicit inclusion of trans people is needed in order for my content to be truly inclusive and safe.
Moving forward, I will make my allyship and love for trans people clear and irrefutable.
When this pushback began, I kept my comments brief and vague due to a frustration at how I was
due to a frustration at how I was being accused of harboring a bigotry that I do not have.
And furthermore, how that accusation did not accompany evidence.
As a Black woman, I find myself functioning on defense and being extra sensitive to when my words or stances are being contorted due to a racist and sexist agenda.
However, I now see how the reasons I just listed were the basis of the comments being made towards me.
Moving forward, I will be mindful to be more explicit in my inclusion.

and championing of trans rights, as well as quick to silence any detractors that make their way into my comment section.
As my final point, let me make it abundantly clear.
I am not a TERF and I do not stand for any TERF ideology.
I believe in and hope for the safety, dignity and legal rights of trans individuals.
Trans people have been and always will be included in my feminism.
