And I think that the challenge system is that kind of system.
It's funny.
Yes.
Yeah, that is the fan polling, and it made me more important in my own thinking.
You know, tons and tons of major league players have played with both systems in the minor leagues.
The players overwhelmingly preferred the challenge system.
And, you know, I do think...
It's a pretty good rule of thumb when you're doing something on the field and you get that kind of an overwhelming response from players that you ought to give a little credence to it.
They've experienced it.
They know what they're talking about.
And look, they have some legitimate concerns.
If you go to ABS...
um every pitch there are it will change the game and this is one of the hard things about making changes in baseball in ways that people don't think about so for example if abs is calling every pitch the framing catcher you know the guy who's not that great offensive player but you know he's great behind the plate he gets a lot of calls by the way you in it right now yeah
That guy becomes, yeah, he's done.
That guy's job goes away.
And then you've got to think the next step.
Who goes back there?
Probably, you know, a more offensive-minded player.
And that's got a series of ramifications associated with it.
Now, more offense, that might be a good thing.
