So she waited out the war in England and then moved them back to Dublin.

And then Cuey was the youngest, the glamorous, the gorgeous one with a husky, sexy voice.
And she was going to be, you know, an actress, you know, do the whole acting on radio thing.
Aer Lingus, whatever, all the glamorous stuff at the time.
And she ended up marrying an ex-American Navy guy lawyer who was like 25 years older than her, which is already glamorous, right?
And then, you know, lived in Washington, D.C.
for all of our lives.
And she would come home, you know, once every couple of years or something.
And we were like in Ballinrow County, Mayo in the 1970s.
Like, you know, and even Dublin felt like, you know, days away.
And she'd have like pantsuits and menthol cigarettes and, you know, big chunky jewellery.
And she looked like one of Charlie's Angels as far as I was concerned.
And she had like the smoker's drawl, you know, husky voice.
And she'd like bring us home these things.
that we thought were so exotic she brought us all home Washington Redskins yellow hoodies and we'd never even seen a hoodie before never heard of a hoodie before we were like oh my god a jumper with a hood on it you know and wore them every single day
And they're like such a big memory.
