I can imagine.
So this one.
On Friday, the Blue Jays and Tigers, you would have seen a ton of during the playoffs last year.
These were two very good teams, two very relevant teams, and they're both off to iffy starts this year.
Both teams are below 500.
Obviously, it's a little too early to sort out the wild card, but right now it looks like both those teams could be jockeying for position there.
Does that make this, I know it's just mid-May, but given that these are two teams that were in the playoffs, two teams with big expectations that are off the cold starts, does that make this feel like a pretty big series to you?
With respect to those injuries, you mentioned it.
The Jays have a lot, and Alejandro Kirk is a big one, and the whole back end of the rotation is on the IL.
With the Tigers, they have a lot of guys as well, but you said it.
Scooble is the headline item.
What is the trickle down like, not just in terms of the rotation, but maybe in the clubhouse and how much pressure it feels like rolls down when it's your ace, your top guy, that's the one who hits the shelf for an extended period of time?
Yeah, it's well said.
So on Friday night, we presume it's Ty Madden on the Tiger side, although they haven't confirmed they're playing at 1 o'clock today against the Mets.
On the Blue Jays side, we know it's going to be Trey Yassavage on Friday.
And Ryan, I'm sure you, well, I ran into you during the playoffs.
I'm sure you saw a bunch of Trey Yassavage during the postseason.
He has only made three starts so far this year, but how impressed were you by his playoff run?
And what are you looking forward to when he takes the mound on Friday?
Yeah, it's a blast.
