we could have a little bit more player movement in this league.
And it would be nice to see players use their leverage a little bit more.
Like if Connor McDavid says I'm done with Edmonton and no one will be able to blame him and he picks his own path, could that have a domino effect?
But it just feels like it doesn't happen in this sport.

You know, who's to say that ever changes.
Because so many teams are close to... That and the 50% retention.
That was the killer, right?
Because if you wanted to trade someone and go double retention, you would have had to have traded them by... Why did they get rid of that?
Teams having dead cap.
It's like we're not worried about Arizona doing it anymore.
It's in Utah and ownership's not doing it there.
So why have this rule now?
