We already know that no team has lost the first two games in the NBA Finals on the road and come back and won.

But this is a game that the Spurs don't win.

The series is probably over.

The Knicks are not going to lose four in a row the way they're playing right now.

They won 13 consecutive games in the playoffs on this crazy heater that it's kind of weird to even see happen.

Like, I remember...

even losing two of the first three games of the playoffs to the Atlanta Hawks in the first round and being like, yeah, this team might be in trouble.

And no, they're not.

But no, it's a significant challenge.

And I would say that guys like Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart and Carl Anthony Towns have been around long enough with this team and in this league to set the expectation for their teammates of ignore this.

Like everybody else is enjoying this.

We have a job to do, and it's win two more games in the series.

And I think they're really good at compartmentalizing that part of this series and this playoff run.

But for those of us who have gotten caught up in this just living here, it's much easier said than done.

I read a Brazil injury replacement story yesterday while also writing the preview of Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final, which is great.
