He touts a new regime, totally unverified, to keep the Dow steady, while the threat to obliterate water sources keeps oil traders from shorting the market.

So the White House and the president keeps using his truth social to basically front run the official Pentagon briefings.

Official Pentagon briefings simply create, to me, a drumbeat of escalation, not de-escalation, and there doesn't appear to be many off-ramps.

And we keep sending in more folks who would be part of any sort of ground troop operation if he orders it.

So you have that.

Then you have the fact that allies have no idea what we're up to.

AP reported that Trump has been telling allies, go get your own oil.

And you go in the straight home moves and get it.

We don't need it.
