I'm going to say something. There has been no other ethnic group within the confines of the history of this nation that had the color of their skin stigmatized like black Americans did. Not one. So let me say that one more time for the camera.
There is no other ethnic group in the history of this nation that had the color of their skin defined as the basis upon which they were stigmatized and used as a thing, as a tool, not a person to be respected. Not true.
Bullshit. have been stigmatizing straight white males and basically keeping them out of universities, jobs, and moving up in careers because of it.
All the reports are coming out right now. Mason, let me get this.
You do know that at one point it was illegal to even teach slaves to read. It was illegal to even issue birth certificates. I understand.

Chapter 3: What arguments are made about personal responsibility versus systemic issues?
And I couldn't call myself a conservative, a Republican, anything of the sort without- You're not, right? Well, you can say that, but tell me what a Republican is.
I would say a Republican is somebody that has conservative Christian values, that would lean more towards self-regulation rather than government regulation, less taxes. less lobbyists, less government control. And when you're going for reparations, that's more taxes. But before we get off on that, I want to ask you a couple questions regarding your opening statement. When did redlining end?
When did segregation end? That's been over 60, 70 years at this point. And you guys are still talking about it. So I'm just curious to know, with those things ended, and you actually never experienced them, so I'd like to know why you deserve reparations. I understand why they might deserve reparations, but I want to know why you deserve reparations.
Well, let me define... Let me first set a baseline. When I define reparations, I am not talking about... getting what Dr. William Darity said that black Americans would be entitled to, which is $250,000. I think that would create a situation where the U.S. couldn't pay that debt. It's impossible. However, you just said it yourself. Segregation ended about 60 years ago.
Women in the United States had gained full autonomy in 1975. Martin Luther King was killed in 1968.
They got the opportunity to vote after black men.
Well, right.
That's not my point.
My point is that the average lifespan of a human being is around 70 to 80 years, give or take. So you just admitted that if the civil rights movement ended only 70 years ago, that means that some of the lasting generational impacts of Jim Crow, of slavery, can still be felt today, which is why my grandmother would deserve reparations. She's still alive. My father was born in 1965.

Chapter 4: How does the discussion address the role of government in reparations?
It's not about refuting it. It's about whether you deserve it.
Are you a Christian, Beau?
Yes.
Okay. So is it written? So since we're Christians, this is interesting. So is it not written that you should do unto others as you would have them do unto you? Yes.
So you think stealing from people and giving it to yourself is what you would do unto others?
No, I think the white Americans stole free labor from black... Wait, did white Americans steal free labor from black folks?
No, they bought it. They bought it from other African Americans that sold it to us. No, it wasn't other African Americans. Excuse me, Africans that sold it to us. So Africans... On what basis did they do this? Just remember this. Africans... through battles and everything else, captured other Africans, and then sold them to the US. They were purchased, not just stolen.
Right, I don't disagree with that.
Okay, and they were brought over to the US. There's a key distinction. Can I just finish? Go ahead. I'll let you talk for a while. Go ahead. They were brought to the US. They didn't know any languages. They didn't know anything other than they were tools. And I do agree with you, and I think it was horrible that they did that.

Chapter 5: What are the implications of government reparations?
You're asking taxpayers. No, I'm not. Yes, you are. What is a government institution? Paid for by the taxpayer.
So you're asking the taxpayers to give reparations. No, I'm actually asking the private federal reserve that prints every dollar that we have to us in interest to give us what we're owed.
So do you think that's really a good idea? Do you think it's good to put us further into debt? Do you think it's good to put us further in inflation for the betterment of your people?
If I became president in 15 years, like I told Cenk, we wouldn't have inflation under my plan. Oh, yeah? How so? Because I would reenact the gold standard.
You think it's that easy?

Chapter 6: How does personal responsibility factor into systemic issues?
You think we have gold? They wouldn't even check the gold standard.
Well, you do know the first thing I would do would be to check Fort Knox, right?
And what happens if it's not there?
We find out where it is, Bo. Okay, and if it's not there, and we don't know where it is, we don't have it.
So you can't put us on it.
Well, you don't know. We don't know where it is right now.
And what do you think? You can just erase the world debt and go back to gold? That's an insane thing to think.
No, it's not. You rescale it. You do what FDR did when he passed Executive Order 6102 when he took us off the gold standard.

Chapter 7: What historical injustices are referenced in the debate?
He passed Executive Order 6102, which forced Americans to turn an all-gold bullion to the treasury at the rate of $20 an hour. obviously you have to assume I'm not the president. I don't have the classification to go into Fort Knox, do I?
And I said, if it's not there. I don't give a fuck if it, if, if, if was a fifth, we'd be drunk right now.
So I'm operating off of the principle that if it's there, stop running from what I'm saying. Stop trying to make yourself seem right. You've been running around everywhere. No, I've been directly answering the bullshit you've been spewing, and I've been trying to stick to my point.
You've been doing the same thing you did on Jubilee, which is this intellectual tap dance of where you want to say some shit that you think will get clips because it'll make you sound right or sound smart. This is not about clips. This is about talking about reparations. Why? No, we're talking about... We're talking about two things. Reparations and how I'm a cultural Marxist.
We've addressed one. You haven't really refuted shit I'm saying.
And the more interesting... I've refuted a lot of the shit that you're saying and called you a victim because I disagree with what you're saying. You didn't... I'm not a victim, Bo. You are... Calling out history is not being a victim. No, complaining about it is...
Oh, so telling the truth is complaining about it. No. Telling the truth that a white Supreme Court justice said that a black man has no rights. He's bound to respect. That's being a victim. You complain about it 100 years later makes you a victim.
Yes. 100 years later.
You ask me a question.

Chapter 8: How do current policies affect racial economic disparities?
Yes, you're a victim. Well, as of 2025, which is current modern day, black people are still, how many times is it? Seven times more likely to become a victim.
That's for murder. For drug crimes, it's 12 times. For sexual assault, it's three to four times.
So murder is seven. Drugs is 12. Sexual assault is three. And that's wrong. Right. Okay. That's racist. I don't think it's racist. Because you're incapable, obviously you're incapable of deep intellectual thought if you can't just admit that that's racist. That's not true.
It is. You're doing the same thing with me you did with Isaiah Martin. When somebody is right, Bo, you don't lose points for admitting that they're right.
Isaiah Martin barely talked when I was there.
I laid into him because he was being dishonest and disingenuous. Well, the only word you used in that entire debate was disingenuous, and you couldn't even refute the man's points when it wasn't that hard to do. All I'm asking you to do is this.
I did, and it was pretty easy.
All I'm asking you to do is this. Are you capable of admitting that racism is still prevalent enough to be a deterrent in the United States of America?
To be a deterrent?
