0.031 - 4.916 Sean Kelly

In business, I'm always trying to get the best outcome for the best price. So it's kind of crazy.

Chapter 2: How does charity play a role in Islamic teachings?

5.096 - 21.935 Sean Kelly

I haven't looked at my life insurance in years. I don't even know if what I'm paying is competitive or if I have enough coverage with how things have changed. That's why I started looking into SelectQuote. For over 40 years, they've helped more than 2 million Americans secure over $700 billion in coverage. Their whole model is simple.

21.955 - 27 Sean Kelly

They shop around to find you the right policy for your specific needs so you're not overpaying or undercovered.

Chapter 3: Why does Hassan believe Islam is targeted by powerful elites?

26.98 - 43.424 Sean Kelly

Their licensed agents work for you in as little as 15 minutes. They compare policies from top-rated carriers to find something that fits your health and your budget, and they do it for free. No medical exam? No problem. You could get same-day coverage up to $2 million, and if you've got pre-existing conditions, they've got options for that too.

The same people covering up the Epstein files, the same people that engage in child sacrifice, child, the same people that are promoting war and conflict, their number one enemy is Islam.

Chapter 4: What is the connection between Islamophobia and American politics?

67.258 - 77.592 Hassan Shibly

You could see wrong is wrong. And if you start to justify the killing of children to support your religious perspective or to support your political perspective, then you sold your soul to the devil.

77.572 - 105.233 Hassan Shibly

how many american politicians are loyal to apac and to israel over america okay guys got hassan back on the show his second time on and uh fresh off a couple big debates thanks for coming man thanks man great to be back yeah i'm in your uh hometown now right uh no la well my dad lives here so i come out quite frequently i think i've been here three four times the last uh couple months a lot of great people a lot of great things happening nice you

105.213 - 121.112 Hassan Shibly

You've got a lot of clients out here, I bet, too. I do. Yes, it's been a blessing. I'm really passionate about identifying people that have been successful in their various fields, especially here in media and influence, but who care about giving back. Unfortunately, you often see that people, they accomplish a lot of material success, but they're empty inside.

Chapter 5: How are veterans waking up to the realities of war?

121.092 - 135.412 Hassan Shibly

Only the first 20, 30, 40,000 a month really is gonna have a positive impact in your life. After that, the pleasure is found in giving back. So it's been a blessing to come out here, meet some very successful people and talk about how we can have a positive impact for this world together, especially in these crazy times that we're witnessing.

0

135.612 - 141.801 Sean Kelly

That's what I've noticed. For me, it's I think around 40K a month. After that, I don't know what to buy anymore.

0

141.781 - 144.064 Hassan Shibly

No, it doesn't bring pleasure. And then it's a responsibility.

Chapter 6: What does Hassan mean by 'faith over fear'?

144.725 - 152.777 Hassan Shibly

God's entrusted us with this wealth, but you can't be close to the creator if you don't use what he's giving you to serve his creation. And that's what I found with a lot of these high net worth friends that I have, man.

0

152.897 - 164.093 Hassan Shibly

Once we start doing charity projects together, once they see the orphanages we're building, once we see the hate we're pushing back against and the positive impact their wealth is able to have on the lives of others, that's where they really find joy. That's incredible.

Chapter 7: Can Iran realistically win the current war?

164.073 - 183.297 Hassan Shibly

Otherwise, what you possess really can possess you. And that's why we have to remember wealth is a means, it's a tools. And that's one of my favorite prayers is, oh God, put the world in our hands, but not in our hearts. I remember if I mentioned this last time, but the material world, it's like the ocean, right? If the world and our hearts are like the ship, if the...

Chapter 8: What gives Hassan hope for the future of Islam?

183.277 - 201.471 Hassan Shibly

world enters into our hearts it sinks us and i think what's destroying a lot of people's happiness peace of mind tranquility is instead of possessing their possessions their possessions are possessing them they become slaves to it that's all they worship that's all they seek that's all they believe brings them happiness forgetting that it's a tool and the real happiness is found when you use it to change the lives of others around you for the better

0

201.502 - 206.469 Sean Kelly

Yeah. Yeah. I know in the Bible it mentions giving back to those in need, right? The homeless. Does it mention that in the Quran too?

0

206.589 - 220.568 Hassan Shibly

A hundred percent. I mean, the whole essence is a true believer is one who gives from what God has given him. You know, when God gives you wealth, you're entrusted with it. God loves to see you enjoy that wealth. So, you know, buy nice clothes, eat good food, live a grateful life.

0

220.668 - 237.317 Hassan Shibly

But what the Quran says for the family of David, which is, you know, David is also a biblical figure, is do, O family of David, gratitude. It doesn't say say gratitude. It says do gratitude. Because gratitude isn't about just what you say. It's about what you do. Do you use your wealth to help those that are needy? Do you use your wealth to uplift others?

0

237.737 - 257.027 Hassan Shibly

If you do, not only does that make the world better, but it really brings the joy in your life. And then that is the wealth you really preserve. Because when we die, we're not taking anything with us. And that's what people forget. Death is inevitable. And we're not taking our possessions with us. The only good that we take is the good that we send ahead. It's the actions that we do.

257.347 - 274.945 Hassan Shibly

Those are what result in true spiritual wealth when the soul goes on. So whatever wealth you just use for yourself for a good time, that wealth dissipates. The wealth you use to help the poor, the needy, to support the oppressed, to feed the hungry, that is wealth that is stored with God for you with your soul forever.

274.925 - 276.987 Sean Kelly

What was Muhammad's wealth? Was he pretty loaded?

277.127 - 301.331 Hassan Shibly

You know, so it's amazing. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, refused to keep wealth in his home. Really? He would be given gifts, sometimes a lot of wealth, gold, animals. And before the end of the day, he would have it all distributed to the point where once he was gifted a lamb. And so he spent the day, he gave out all of the lamb except the leg he kept for his family to eat.

301.391 - 318.12 Hassan Shibly

And his wife asked him, why did you give away the whole lamb except the leg? And he said, the reality is I kept the whole lamb except the leg. The leg we eat, we lose. The lamb we gave in charity, that is with God invested with us, and we will have it on the day we need it most when we return to God.
