Description

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip!This week Pip is joined by stuntperson and all round beam of light DAVD HOLMES!You might have come to know David through the documentary 'The Boy Who Lived', which goes into great detail about his life and the path that led to his stunt work and career in the industry. If you have indeed seen it, you'll know that he's someone who has been through some immense experiences, and lived through one literally life changing one. But David hasn't disappeared from the light or retreated, when it might seem like an entirely understandable reaction. He's gained power and confidence through the strong friendships and relationships he made in his film career, and this has fueled his evolution in no small part, into where he currently finds himself. This is an awesome conversation with someone whose outlook will inspire and delight, and as David himself says, he is "handi-capable, not handicapped". Of course, there are moments of trauma that he wll live with, and these reveal themselves in the conversation, so perhaps take note going in... But don't miss out on this one - it's a classic Distraction Pieces if ever there was one.PIP'S PATREON PAGE if you're of a supporting natureTHE BOY WHO LIVEDINSTAGRAMCAMEOHOSPITAL GOFUNDMECUNNING STUNTS podcastSPEECH DEVELOPMENT WEBSTOREPIP TWITCH • (music stuff)PIP INSTAGRAMPIP TWITTERPIP PATREONPIP IMDBPOD BIBLE Hosted on Acast.
