03 Mar 2025
(00:00-24:34) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison recapping everything from the weekend. Jake starts the show by discussing yesterday’s win for the Indiana Pacers and their decision to have Jarace Walker play in today’s Mad Ants game. Also, Jake discusses some of the reports as whom the Colts are interested in. (24:34-37:26) – Voice of the Indiana Hoosiers, Don Fischer, joins Query & Company from Eugene, Oregon to recap Saturday’s win over Washington, provide his opinion on why Indiana has won four of its last five games, believes that Malik Reneau is finally healthy and that’s leading to his successful play, and assesses if Anthony Leal is one of the most underrated defenders in the country. (37:26-45:10) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake telling a story about knowing the history of Leon Tailoring but never shopping in the store until Saturday with the shop closing after 120 years. (45:10-1:07:04) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 joins Query & Company to share his takeaways from the NFL Combine. Jake and Mike discuss what the quarterback competition would look like in their eyes, that he would have a hard time taking a tight end in the first round if there was a player at a premium position that you love available, and weighs in if they can convince a free agent, and his agent, that the player will have a fair shot at winning the starting quarterback job. (1:07:04-1:14:34) – Last night the Indiana Pacers picked up a win over the Chicago Bulls behind Aaron Nesmith’s career night. Jake and Eddie discuss Nesmith’s importance to the team and how his return has led to inconsistent minutes for Jarace Walker despite him developing more this season. (1:14:34-1:26:09) – Hour number two quickly concludes with Jake sharing the news about former NFL coach Jimmy Johnson announcing his retirement from FOX. (1:26:09-1:50:02) – Alex Golden from Setting The Pace joins Jake Query to assess Jake’s opinion on the Indiana Pacers decision to ask Jarace Walker to play in this afternoon’s Mad Ants game, believes that the All-Star break was a much needed break for Tyrese Haliburton to relax his body and mind, assesses if the Rockets will be watered down by the time the Pacers play them tomorrow night after facing OKC tonight, and declares Jake as the all-knowing when it comes to NBA mascots. (1:50:02-2:01:37) – During the first race of the season yesterday for IndyCar, Jake was receiving texts from fans asking the difference between the primary tires and alternate tires. Jake explains what the difference is, and Eddie asks some follow up questions about the tires. (2:01:37-2:09:36) – Today’s show closes with Jake and Eddie giving away a pair of tickets for a listener to go see Pantera! Plus, JMV joins the guys in studio to weigh in about on the chick flick conversation from earlier in the show.Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
