18 Aug 2025
(00:00-23:45) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing everything that happened over the weekend. They discuss the quarterback competition for the Colts after the preseason game against the Packers, the Indiana Fever’s historic comeback win over the Connecticut Sun, and some of the early returns on how the LIV Golf Tournament went at Chatham Hills. (23:45-34:39) – There were some interesting things said during, and after, the Indianapolis Colts game against the Green Bay Packers. Jake starts with comments made by Carlie Irsay-Gordon about the quarterback situation and the relationship between Chris Ballard and Shane Steichen. After the game, Shane Steichen appeared to tip his hand at who the week one starting QB is. (34:39-43:44) – The first hour of the program wraps up with Jake and Eddie debating if the Indiana Fever should consider shutting Caitlin Clark down for the rest of the season with Sophie Cunningham injuring her knee yesterday. (43:44-1:07:02) – Indiana Fever television play-by-play broadcaster, Pat Boylan, joins Query & Company to recap an emotional comeback victory for the team yesterday against the Connecticut Sun, shares what we know about Sophie Cunningham’s knee injury right now, evaluates how many different versions of the team he has seen this year, and weighs in on a discussion Jake had last week with Eddie on the average sports consumer having multiple networks and apps to try and find games on because he views it as a positive for the WNBA to be on so many different platforms. (1:07:02-1:24:27) – Eddie White joins Jake Query on the program to share what he thought about the LIV Golf Tournament at Chatham Hills this weekend. He admits that he loved how they tied the Indianapolis 500 into it with Jon Rahm celebrating with a bottle of milk, explains how the shotgun start keeps people engaged and entertained the entire time people are golfing, is glad that they used Indianapolis on all the promotion instead of Westfield, and is fascinated to see if LIV poaches any golfers from the PGA with the season ending this weekend for those golfers. (1:24:27-1:28:29) – The second hour of the program concludes with Jake asking people for help because he’s having car issues again. (1:28:29-1:54:37) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 kicks off the final hour of the program by reacting to the three audio clips that Jake played earlier in the show with his opinion on what was said by Carlie Irsay-Gordon and Shane Steichen. Mike also evaluates some players that stood out in the second preseason game, admits he wants the Colts to start Anthony Richardson so they know what they got in him, and touches on some of the training camp superstars he remembers from all his years covering the Colts. (1:54:37-2:02:44) – Jake and Eddie open the phone lines for listeners to call into the program to claim spots in the Query & Company fantasy football league! (2:02:44-2:10:15) – Today’s show closes out with Jake revealing his long night last night and JMV joining him in studio to preview his show!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
