21 Mar 2025
(00:00-24:48) – Query & Company opens on a Friday from Prime 47 with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison back in the studio discussing last night’s win for the Pacers over the Brooklyn Nets. Jake discusses how Bennedict Mathurin has been the catalyst for the Pacers wins the last two nights. Also, he highlights some of the upsets that we saw in the NCAA Tournament yesterday. (24:48-34:03) – The second segment of the show starts with Jake and Eddie discussing the dawg mentality that Bennedict Mathurin has played with the last two nights without Tyrese Haliburton. They remind people what he said about LeBron James and have a discussion where LeBron ranks right now amongst the best players in the NBA. (34:03-42:10) – The first hour of the program concludes with Jake pleading for the NCAA to bring back specific courts for each location instead of similar courts with different colors. Additionally, he discusses one of the famous dinners that happened at Prime 47 years ago. (42:10-1:04:31) – Former Ball State Cardinal Chandler Thompson joins Jake Query to discuss his one shining moment in the 1990 NCAA Tournament with his putback dunk against UNLV. Also, he explains what it was like playing for Rick Majerus back in the day, why he chose to attend Ball State to continue his basketball career going, reveals which countries he played in professionally, and then shares a story about his time in Russia where he ran into mobster. (1:04:31-1:16:05) – Jake and Eddie dive back into the Pacers win last night by discussing whether they win that game without the scuffle between Trendon Watford and Myles Turner/Andrew Nembhard. They remind people about how the Pacers were missing a player like Bennedict Mathurin in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics. (1:16:05-1:23:28) – Hour number two concludes with Jake and Eddie giving away a pair of tickets for a listener to go see Counting Crows at Everwise Amphitheater in June! (1:23:28-1:44:06) – Kevin Bowen from The Fan Morning Show joins the program to kick off the final hour of the show by giving his thoughts on the Purdue win over High Point yesterday, weighs in on Aaron Rodgers visiting the Pittsburg Steelers today, admits that it will be very odd seeing Rodgers with the Steelers, weighs in on the lack of interest that other teams have had in E.J. Speed, and states that the Colts need to select a tight end in the first or second round of the NFL Draft in a couple of weeks. (1:44:06-1:51:43) – Every Friday on Query & Company is a Franciscan Good For The Heart Friday! Jake shares a story that has ties to the NCAA Tournament with a manager making NCAA history. (1:51:43-2:06:22) – Today’s show closes with Brad Shaffer of Prime 47 joining Jake to discuss what all they have going on today for the NCAA Tournament.
