10 Feb 2022

Description

Todays guest is Priscilla Chand Founder of Hire Her, we discuss how to start a business from stratch, the mindset you need to start, how to prove whether there is a market for the product or service you have, plus many more tips and tricks. Priscilla is an absolute weapon in the digital space, growing Hire Her organically and has some heafty global ambitions. This is a great a great podcast!  Priscilla's first job at Westpac her mentor taught her a very important lesson, always put the customer at the heart of what you do and she has never forgotten this. Priscilla quote " I built HIRE HER www.gohireher.com because my future customers (target market) told me this is what they wanted. I asked a question across a few FB groups and got a response of a lifetime, so many women said YES I love the idea of this platform and we need it ASAP. So that's what gave me the courage to take the plunge & quickly launch in 3 months. With over 100 signs up within week 1. We now grow week on week with over 550 women on the platform at 8 months. The platform, brand, community and offering revolves around the customer (the women). There are so many unknown answers and I am no fancy entrepreneur or business woman, I'm a person that has immense passion to solve my customers problems. This is how do I live on my own terms through various sources of income and flexible work (most women choose to contract, freelance or launch their business not only for financial freedom but to create a version of life that is on their own terms especially mothers).
