He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo and a master’s degree from the University of Miami. He spent 20 years in South Florida, where he built a successful career and shared his life with someone he deeply loved. In 2022, his world turned upside down when he relocated to Texas and faced unemployment, the loss of his partner, and struggles with addiction.
