At least $50 billion was spent, and they considered Assad in Syria as a strategic debt. But when the time came and the whole thing collapsed in 11 days, thanks to the very weakening position of the regime in the region, then they said, well, it wasn't us. It was another country and too bad. And they say the same thing about Hezbollah and all of the others.
