Questions about plans
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. The Free plan includes 5 hours of transcription and 100 searches a month, needs no card, and does not expire. There are no trials of paid plans: checkout charges immediately, and you can cancel any time.
What counts toward my transcription hours?
The length of the audio you transcribe, billed per second with a 30-second minimum per file. Searching, listening, and reading your own transcripts never use transcription time.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Nothing is lost and nothing fails. When a month's transcription hours are used up, new recordings are stored and wait; they start on their own when the allowance returns or the plan grows. When the month's searches are used up, searching the public library pauses until the allowance renews, and your assistant is told so in plain words. Your own recordings stay readable at any time. Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, from your workspace's billing page. Upgrades apply immediately and you pay the difference for the rest of the period. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep what you paid for until then.
Who shares a plan?
A plan belongs to a workspace. Its members share the workspace's hours, searches, and storage, whether they use the website, ChatGPT, Claude, or the API. Starter has one member, Pro three, Enterprise 25 or more per workspace.
Which currencies and payment methods can I use?
Prices are set in US dollars. Checkout runs on Stripe, shows the price in your local currency, and accepts cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link.
Is my audio private?
Yes. Your recordings live in your workspace, and only its members and the agents holding its keys can search them. Your audio and transcripts are never used to train models.
How accurate are the transcriptions?
Every quote links to the second of audio it came from, so you never have to take our word for it. We also publish our error rates against Deepgram, AssemblyAI, and OpenAI on 29 public recordings: see the benchmarks. Accuracy varies with the audio: heavy accents, overlapping speech, and noisy recordings are harder.
A prepaid balance from $5. Your agent tops it up and pays per answer: searches, excerpts, and overviews of the public record and its own workspace, plus transcription.

Questions about paying as you go
Does the agent need an account?
No. The first top-up opens a pay-as-you-go workspace and returns its API key. The agent keeps using that key; nobody signs up.
What is the claim link?
A one-time link for the person the agent works for. Signed in, they take the workspace over, see its recordings, usage, and balance, and manage its keys. The agent keeps working with the same key.
What happens when the balance runs out?
Paid answers reply HTTP 402 again until the balance is topped up. A transcription that does not fit the balance waits and starts after the next top-up.
What if a transcription fails?
It is charged at the measured length before it starts, and the charge goes back to the balance if it fails for good.
