There's no chemicals in there? No, no, no, no, no, no. Baptismal water is simply a symbolic representation of dying to self and living to Christ. Because the scripture says in Romans chapter 6 that... we are buried with Christ in baptism in death, that as he was raised from the dead to the glory of God his Father, we will be raised again to a new life in Christ.
