Dateline Originals
Murder in the Moonlight - Ep. 3: The Ring

Well, it's Wisconsin registration, so it comes up as stolen on a national computer. So they call the originating agency who entered the truck as stolen and let us know that they have the vehicle and we'll ask what our wishes are with it. It was found abandoned. So it's not like it was pulled over on a traffic stop where now we have a suspect for who stole the vehicle.
