Well, I was going to just say I agree with you. Something that Space Marine 2 did very well, I think, was it captured that grimdark. There is no retreat, man. You go forward, bro. You are put on this planet to destroy. And if you're feeling a little weak... Always charge, never bend. And I think this game did a fantastic job of that. And the shield was for sure the most engaging part of that.

I think that the element that it added to the gameplay where you could literally rush across half the level sometimes it felt like and just smash into hordes of enemies. I loved it. It was my favorite part of the game for sure.
