Yes. And, you know, we basically we've seen this more in animal studies, but human studies, there could be some incidents, especially if you're insulin resistant, where the body is confused by the sweetness. Right. So we've seen this in animal studies where an animal will have a let's say a diet cola or just pure, you know, aspartame, a sucralose or some sort of artificial sweetener.

And the body is not given any calories, but yet the pancreas is like, no, no, there's some sweet here. So I need to release insulin because we have sweet. So if we have sweet, you need insulin. I don't know how much, but I'm going to release it. And then we have insulin circulating around with no job to do, which is a really bad situation for insulin.

So there is, again, we need more human studies there. And the other thing that I hear a lot in my practice as well is people just, killing themselves if they have any kind of processing at all, right? So we've got like, I'm sure you've seen this, the NOVA classification out of Brazil that classifies how processed food actually are kind of, you know, what bucket they go into.

So we've got like culinary ingredients, processed, non-processed, right? Ultra-processed. And so I a lot of times I'll tell my patients, you know, it's almost impossible to eat a completely unprocessed diet. Right. That means if you want to carry it, you're going in your backyard, you're pulling it from the earth and you're having the carrot. It's like it's almost impossible. So we can't like.

slap ourselves you know on the back and say gosh you know you're so bad for doing this if we have something that has some processing because it's very hard not impossible um but it's hard for all americans to eat a completely unprocessed diet you have a piece of cheese there's processing there so again like i think defining ultra process from process is also important as well
