I've made 12 calls to the insurer, spoken with seven different people, and spent over 30 hours trying to understand their deductible accumulators. I have reconciled 17 pages of printouts against my own Excel spreadsheet and have identified $350 owed back from a provider due to a deductible recalculation in June. It really shouldn't be this difficult and time-consuming for any of us.
