Somehow, shockingly, for most of the Great Smokies cases, I was able to find a buttload of information. Like, I was able to find so much documentation. I don't know why. But for most of those cases, there was enough for me to make a 35 to 50 minute video. Without even talking about the history of the area. I have an idea why. Why? Because... I mean contemporary coverage. Like newspaper coverage.

No, no, that's my point, is that so, like, a lot of these events that were going on, you think about the fact that, like, most national parks here are still relatively close to civilization, and civilization has essentially been more developed here, even though not by a huge margin, but enough of a margin where everything is a lot closer together, everything is a lot more developed than anything out west.
