call to get that filled nice yeah wonderful but anyway no i agree with everything you were saying um i think it makes a lot of sense i think a lot a lot of this comes down to most likely training for local uh and state police departments yeah um because i know one of the things i did in my previous job is we actually did a video series for uh the doj and it was a guy who the department of jeb yes

But it was a guy who had initially worked at it was in Delaware. It was he had worked at that police office precinct that we were doing some of the filming at. And then he was in the Marines for a while. He served in the Secret Service for a while. And then he became an instructor for this kind of national thing. I can't remember what it was called.

But it was amazing that some of even now, some of the things that you would think were generally basic training information were some of the things that they were really going over because they were trying to increase all levels of training for department wide members from even just logistics handling people to the officers on the streets themselves.

And the goal was to minimize violent confrontations for a variety of different reasons to save officers' lives and civilians' lives. But even just things like printing for officers to figure out whether or not someone has a gun on them based on their clothing. was something that was being covered.

Just general tactics for handling individuals on the street when you are, prior to interrogation, just trying to get information from somebody who you may not be certain or even suspicious of yet, just to find a way to do something like that. This was like three years ago. Imagine what the state of police training back then was. But here's the other thing. I don't feel like it's getting better.

Because they're not getting the funding. At a certain point, I feel like you don't even need to fund it. You can just go, hey guys, remember that time they screwed that up really bad? Don't do what they did. At a certain point, it's just leadership. Why is the police captain...

when something like this happens, not harping on it for their, their staff for, for the same reason that Alex Hunter was not prosecuting cases.

Yeah. That's the downside is that like, there are a lot of people in this nation, not everybody by any stretch of the imagination. There are great people out there, but there are a lot of people who are much more concerned about keeping their job consistent and their paycheck consistent rather than doing the right thing, which I'm not going to pretend I don't understand, but,
