I think that was meant to be consumed as propaganda, not necessarily from the developmental side of the writers, but I think that character has lived off of propaganda, and I think that was the point.

Unfortunately, they don't have a counter-argument in that show, but knowing people who work in the climate sector and having a lot of ins into that format, having discussions about how inaccurate that show is is actually hilarious. Because, yeah, if anybody tells you that wind turbines never make up their carbon footprint throughout their entire 20-year life cycle, that is very wrong.
