Like the cost of everything that it takes to tour has gotten significantly more expensive. But what the artists are being paid out might be the same as it was seven years ago.

And I think the elephant in the room is that the pandemic really impacted the industry. A lot of artists were not able to work or tour for years. more than a year during the pandemic.

financial and emotional and physical toll of that in so many instances, especially if anybody got sick and shows were canceled. And there just wasn't an easy way to recover from that. We're five years out, but I think we're still significantly dealing with the aftermath of that as well.
