How the upcoming federal election will impact the accounting sector

With the federal election drawing closer there are a number of proposed issues which could impact those within the accounting sector. In this episode of Accountants Daily Insider, host Katarina Taurian is joined by Geoff Stein, partner at Brown Wright Stein Lawyers to unpack these potential changes and discuss some which have been recently announced.   Geoff will take an in-depth look at the proposal to cap the deductibility of accountant fees and some of the issues that it will likely cause, and further discuss trust structures following the announcement surrounding trust income interest rates.
