President Trump continues to claim the virus will “go away”

As nearly 158,000 Americans have died from coronavirus, President Trump continues to suggest the virus will “go away.” But, White House Task Force Member Dr. Anthony Fauci says “I don’t think we’re going to eradicate this from the planet.” Dr. Richard Besser, the former Acting CDC Director under President Obama, joins AC360 to react to President Trump’s comments and says if there’s not leadership from the top at the federal level as we start to reopen schools, we’re going to see disease spread in out of control ways.
